I am privileged to live in the Sag Harbor community on the Eastern end of Long Island. Walks on the beach, experiencing the surrounding light and salt air, the woods and wildlife, the beautiful sunsets -are all part of my daily routine. This natural beauty finds its subtle way into my ceramic art. My life in creating with clay began over thirteen years ago. It is a passion that I will continue to explore and experiment with for my lifetime. I have studied ceramics at Penland School of Crafts, North Carolina, at LaMeridiana in Tuscany, at community, state and private universities. I am honored to have studied with many internationally famous ceramic artists. For the past 9 years, I have been teaching ceramics at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. and managing the Ceramic studio. My work has been sold in various juried shows and exhibits including: Hofstra University, The Oyster Bay Historical Society, a The Clothesline Art Sale at Guild Hall in East Hampton and at Celedon Gallery in Watermill. It is a joy to be part of this East End artistic community.
